My name is Ray Jorgensen.  My wife, Mary (she's on the right), and I have always worked together.  In former lives it was farming, an auction business, manager of an insurance agency, currently life insurance sales specialist - and this our latest venture.  We live in NW Iowa.  It's a great place, but it's as close to hell as you can get with out actually being there.  HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter.  I'm beginning to understand why people go south in the winter!

We love fishing.  I love wood working, and Mary loves the stuff that I make for her. (Mostly furniture, not so much fishing poles)  It's a GREAT combination!!  Fishing gives us the time alone, quiet or talking, that we don't make otherwise.  Woodworking gives me the satisfaction of creating something.

We fish mainly walleye, but on a slow day any bite is good and on a nonexistent bite day, it sure beats work.  I've lovingly kept my dad's 1968 Star-craft going.  It works great and it's the only boat on the fishing lakes that has a built in potty.  When Mary started fishing with me she said "if I'm going out there, then I'm having a potty!"  That was just one more challenge that was really fun to overcome.  It actually flushes, has a toilet seat and all!!
