These pictures don't show them, but the doors entering this room were all made by us to resemble the cabinet doors. This is in a 1895 Victorian house.

Detail of inlays in the corners of each door.  These are through pegs and are are structural as well as ornamental.  The wood for the inlay is ebony.

This view is coming in from the garage. The island is paneled in the same style as the doors.  The stools are made from the same woods and all joints are pegged mortise and tennon.  There are no mechanical fasteners in the stools.
